We booked our rehearsal dinner!

FINALLY!!

We decided on the Library Cafe in Farmingdale. We had dinner there last night and we all agreed the food, drinks, and atmosphere were really good, so my FMIL is going to go next week to put a deposit down, and hopefully our date won't already be booked!

I'm so glad there's one more thing to cross off the list!

Is that the big cafe in a corner that has TV's and stuff inside? I have always wanted to go there. It looks really cool.

Are they renting the entire restauant to you or do they have a separate room? My church is in Bethpage and we need to find a place for the rehearsal dinner on Halloween!!!

It's a 'semi-private' room.. meaning that it's the second floor of the building (which you have all to yourself) but the second floor is designed like a loft, so it's open to overlook the rest of the restaurant. We kinda liked that, though...

The ceilings are SOOO high in there!

I love love LOVE that place. Did I mention I love that place??? You can visit its sister-restaurant the post office in Babylon. Same menu different name. The Library is actually quieter. at least the times I was there. The post office is great but they make the music so loud!!!

You can't have a conversation in that place in the evenings.
