We booked the church!

Me and FH just got back from our interview at the church....We are officially getting married!!

We are the first wedding at our church to be booked for 2009!

Now that the church and RH are both booked...we can sit back and relax for a couple months until the planning starts up again!!

The only things they asked were if we have ever been married, if we are underage, if we have been baptized and if we had mental problems lol

We got ourselves all ready for some crazy questions....and they didnt even ask them!

Denise, Really?? When i went they thought i was crazy for booking for 08 too?

Anyway! Congrats on getting the church and RH done with! Those are the first two I did as well. Next we did DJ, but you have plenty of time. I would do as much as you can before the holiday season because thats when they raise the prices for the new year

LOL I didnt book anything yet!!! Don't worry. FH doesnt want to book until after our eparty in March, he wants to do one thing at a time and I am getting so antsy about it LOL

Oh yah! I didn't book the hall or church either. FH doesn't come home on leave until the end of May so we have to wait until then

But we arent planning on having the wedding until May 24 2009. So we will most likely book 2 years in advance- cause we are DEFINITELY booking May/June of 2007.... FINALLY

lol...and I am still looking at places for an e-party. Cause we aren't having it until the middle of June right before FH leaves for Japan- it will be a going away and e-party in one!!

Yeah thats what they told us, they were like uhmmm we dont even have the book so they called us two weeks later to say we are booked.

Yeah i know others who went after us and they still looked at you like wow its so early lol

I got the same thing, that they didnt have a book. But now that i changed the date there was still not a lot for next year I was told.

How did everything go at CLM??

Oh everything went great at CLM. I loved it...and Nick was so wonderful...he answered all the questions I had before I even asked them

The only thing is I will have to bring back FH when he comes home in May. So I let Nick know the date and he said if I come back in May he most likely will still have that day open...so if FH loves it and we dont find anywhere else we love better (which I think FH really likes Watermill- he went to a wedding there and LOVED it) Then hopefully we can book at CLM!!

But I only looked at VYC and CLM so we def gotta go looking when he comes home and book that and the Church before he goes to Japan in July

To copy previous posts...all you have to do it press the 'Qoute' button that is on the bottom alongside the 'Forum Mail, Reply' etc buttons...

and then you can write whatever you want while qouting what that particular person said!!
