We booked the reception hall!

Hola Everyone!

I am so happy because we finally booked our hall on Saturday. After looking at many halls we have decided to go with Westbury Manor. My FH & I have never been to a wedding there, but we both loved it and the people we have been dealing with are very nice. It feels good to cross that off the list--I have so much more to do now!!

I also want to thank the ppl on this board for their advice--it was very helpful!

Greta choice. I LOVE!! the Manor. Went to dinner there 2 weeks ago. I have had MANY, MANY parties there and know alot of the workers. If you need any info just holla!!

Congratulations! It's such a good feeling to book your hall, isn't it? It really gives direction to the rest of your planning.

The Westbury Manor is a great choice...but I'm biased b/c we were married there last November. Please post if you have any questions. I'll be glad to share our experience there.

we wanted to have it on a Sat. night originally, but instead we are having it on a Friday night in November of this year because it just worked out better with our church & its a much better price!

This week I plan to attend the seminar that is provided by the Westbury/ Scotto Brothers, so I am hoping to get some good information from there & my search is beginning now for a good DJ/MC. I really want to have good music so that is the next thing I am trying to book because I heard that good DJs get booked very early.

So any feedback on good DJs/MCs/ entertainment would be appreciated!
