What a great feeling of relief and total responsibility! LOL

The closing went well, the only glitch was that the mortgage company sent my attorney the wrong documents and the attorney said that if he did not get them by 11am this morning, we were not closing today! I was panicking but luckily the mortgage company got the paperwork there on time. It was a lot of signing. I felt sorry for the seller because it was her son's house and he passed away. When we were done she was crying and wished us luck with the house but wished she had her son back. It was a melancholy situation.

Anyways, I am going to try to post some pics here so bear with me!

WOW I love that house. It is beautiful on the outside and looks amazing on the inside. It looks as if the past owner did alot of updating to the house. It looks as if you will only have to update the bathroom.

I love the Kitchen. That cabinets are a really nice dark wood, and the counter is pretty cool too. Does it face a wall? (where you sit)

Where is this house located? Do you know what happened to the womans son? Thats so sad.

Scott

hi guys - thanks to everyone for the warm wishes!!

Scott - it is in Middlesex Cty, NJ. It was a complete disaster before the previous owners renovated - my neighbors told us people thought it was abandoned. The completely redid it with the exception of the bathroom. The stools face a counter which is against the wall with more cabinets above that. It is next to the fridge.

The woman's son who owned the house had a heart attack unfortunately (Not in the house though!) So it was bitterswet for her to see it sold.
