we did it !!
yesterday we went to get our license...but not after a near meltdown on my part....both fh and i had taken the day off to do this and never htough we might need a birth certificate (2003oct10 got your fm today....oops!) so we thought just picutre id and passport woudl be fine....for some reason i decided to check online to see what we needed before we left and well, it said birth certif, baptism certif, etc...and of course my parents still have mine locked up in a safe at their house and fh's had his at his house...leavign us with nothing...luckily i had a copy of his baptism certif withour stuff but still noithign for me....after frantic calls to my dad at work, i checked the town of hempstead site and found it only said 2 forms of id but no specifics - so i called to find out...and they said two pic ids were fine...well, long story short, we got it! hooray!! we both actually used our license and photo id for work (i had my passort and his baptism certif with me too but they said the work ids were fine!!)
