Sunday was the absolute most amazing day of my life. Aside from some brief rain right after the ceremony - everything went perfectly! The Carltun, Creative Compositions and Voices band made our day - they were beyond expectation. I will certainly write a review and fill you all in!

Greetings from Firenze, Italia!! Thank you everyone for your comments. It truly was the perfect day - everything we'd hoped it would be.

As for the rose petals as St. Kevins - we had them and no one said anything. The problem was it started to rain just as we were to go outside. So they threw just a couple inside. We ended up taking them back to the carltun where the steel drummer played here come the bride - as DH and I walked in they threw them there (it had stopped raining by then). So....I don't think SK was going to give us any trouble - but I didn't get a true test.

Congrats to all this weekend's brides!!!

Thank you, everyone! It seems like the wedding was ages ago but we just returned from the honeymoon this past weekend. Italy is an AMAZING country. We went to Venice, Florence, Capri and Rome. I'd give anything to live the last month all over again. All of the hard work and stress of wedding planning really does pay off. That day - nothing matters. I didn't notice what shoes the girls had on or what flowers were in the church (for example) - I only had eyes for DH that day and every minute was worth celebrating!
