I am actually kind of disappointed about this. I am Jewish and it was my 'first christmas.' I wasn't expecting any from my family of course, but I thought his family would definitely get us one. Oh well I guess I will have to go check out the sales and buy one myself.

We got two ornaments with our names on them but, they weren't the traditional 'First Christmas' ones. I was surprised as well! I was thinking we'd get a good start on our Christmas ornament collection this year for next year's tree.

Go on some websites, and buy them urself. Now you will probably get them for 50% off.
Lenox has about 3 different first xmas ones... As does Hallmark. I even saw some in CVS that were HALLMARK and soooo pretty!
I wound up getting 4 first christmas ornaments this yr!
Defininitely search the web and go into stores like CVS and walgreens and Hallmark, b/c they wont be cheap looking, they'll all be a hallmark brandm and even if ur super crazy about 1, u should still get it as a keepsake! You'll regret it! ESPECIALLY, not only b/c its ur first christmas together, but because its YOU're first time celebrating xmas!

I received them at my shower last year. My sister did a Christmas themed wishing well. This year, MIL bought us a Lenox 1st Christmas with bells. This is my favorite wedding ornament- it's Cinderella and Prince Charming:
