Are they just for pictures? or for people to see and to look nice..
cause im debating doing them because every wedding i have been at ive never actaully seen the cake table.. UP close.. i dont think many people really go up to it. But i guess they would look nice in pictures

I never seen them either.... but you also have to consider the size of the cake and the size of the table where the cake will be.

same here i've never been to a wedding that actually had them..! but i def. like DIY projects and will probably use them to decorate the dias. Unless the cake table seems really blah... i'm still undecided!

I saw them at one wedding and the only reason I noticed them is because they went FLYING across the dance floor when a drunk guest ran into the cake table. Yup! The cake went flying too!!
I think I have some pictures of it -- I will look!!
It's the running joke amongst all of our friends now, but my friend (the bride) was hysterically crying when it happened....
