so we have less than 4 months to go, and we finally decided on an officiant! we met with reverend callahan tonight and he was great! thanks to everyone who recommended him! we booked him on the spot! and i have to admit that i did have tears in my eyes when he was going over what he says when we give each other our rings.... i'm going to be a huge bawling mess on my wedding day!!!

I have read and heard good things about him. Can someone FM his price?
I am not sure how to ask this question, but does he write something unique for each couple? Does he meet the couple and then write something and go over it the couple?

when we met with him tonight - he went over the general ceremony setup he has - but he is flexible to change it upon your request. i'm sure if you wanted him to write something just for you - or if you wanted to write something for him to say - he would do it - but you can always ask him. i liked him a lot because he didn't just start going over the ceremony right away - he asked us some questions to get to know us. i got the feeling that he's doing this for the right reasons and not just to make money..... his fee is $500, by the way. $100 to book adn the rest on the day of the wedding.
