We finally decided on Aruba!! :)

My FI & I finally decided to go to Aruba on our honeymoon!! We're so excited! We were having a difficult time deciding between St. Lucia & Aruba! It turns out that August is St. Lucia's rainy season! Good thing I researched it on my own b/c the avg. rainfall there for August is 10.5 inches!
We're tring to decide between the Hyatt & the Marriott resort & casino in Aruba! Any suggestions?? Has anyone been to either? Thanks so much

Re: We finally decided on Aruba!! :)

We went to Aruba and spent alot of time trying to decide between Marriott and Hyatt. We ended up staying at the Hyatt. We went to look at the Marriott and we were glad we chose Hyatt. I highly recommend the Hyatt. We were upgraded too to oceanfront room. We just got back from Maui Hyatt and they upgraded us to oceanfront too. Good luck!

Aruba is a great choice, we're going there for our honeymoon also. I've heard nothing but great things about Aruba, we're staying at the Radisson, it's suppose to be really nice there.

Re: We finally decided on Aruba!! :)

You won't be disappointed! I haven't stayed at either place (we went to La Cabana and Aruba Beach Club). You may want to check into one thing at the Marriot. It looked awesome from the outside (from what we could see), but right now they're building a new section so there is construction next door. You may want to call them to see when it will be completed so it doesn't interfere with your relaxing honeymoon!

Re: We finally decided on Aruba!! :)

We are going to Aruba too, in Nov. We are staying at the Radisson. The reason we chose that instead of the Hyatt is because they have real balconies. And they just renovated the Radisson about 2 yrs. ago, so it is still really new. The Hyatt hasn't been renovated since they built it. Don't get me wrong, the Hyatt is gorgeous, I am not knocking it. But we wanted a balcony. I can't wait to go!

Re: We finally decided on Aruba!! :)

do a search. i wrote a post on aruba entitled 'my aruba book', if you can't find it i'll email it to you.
i have been there twice, got engaged there, and I am going back a third time for my honeymoon.
great choice!

the raddison & hyatt are, IMO, the two top hotels there
