We found a secret window in our co-op, should we open it?

We found a secret window in our co-op, should we open it?
so we found a window in between our bathroom and our kitchen. Apparently the other owners covered it when they put in the cabinets and counters etc. Its a huge tall window . Should we rip out the cabinet and have the big window? The only issue is that we lose a cabinet and we dont have enough room as it is.
What would you do?

I LOVE windows - so if it were me i would probably open it - is yoru coop arleady bright? IF you really really need space than maybe it woudl be more efficient to keep the cabinet but that sounds like an awesome window

hmmmm, we're in a co-op and cabinet space is very valuable....as much as i love windows and the light they let in, i'd say keep the cabinet..... unless you have room for a storage pantry type thing elsewhere which would allow you storage space....
