Thanks ladies. With every plan we make, there are signs of my father's presence. I am typically not an overly spiritual person. I dont usually believe in signs. Though from time to time, I feel as if there were reasons for everything. I feel (as most of my family does) from the bottom of my heart that Dad waited for our engagement before he passed. He had been in and out of consciousness for 9 months, but something deeper kept him with us. I want and will believe that he waited for me to have a safe and secure relationship before he left us. Again, the most generous man I have ever known, even in his worst of health. Forgive me for continuallly bringing this topic up, but the pain is still real and it isnt getting easier.

Thats beautiful!! When my grandfather passed away recently he gave me his wedding ring and it means a lot to me.

I think it is really special that you will be taking your mother's wedding ring and what it symbolizes to you...this kind of heirloom is just irreplaceable...Im so happy for you!

Sometimes objects like that are just the things that you have to hold onto in hard times, bittersweet but like you said full circle.. glad you found the ring, I'm sure it will be one of your most cherished possessions..
