How stupid is this!!!!!! Technically he's 'on paper' theirs but they were worried about security so he's still in our custody!!! Well yeah! You should be worried about security your whole friggin country is unstable right now!!! and we just hand over Saddam and 12 of his henchmen!!!!!!!
Why the hell didn't we just have the trial here?

I don't think it's really up to us to punish him. I think his country needs to punish him for his crimes against them. Giving him back not a good thing, but keeping him with our security is good. I am just afraid of how he will try to persuade the new government there to let him go.

Regardless of what that mass murderer says I dont think he is going to get off with anything less than the death penality or life imprisionment with no possibility of parol. Come on give the oppressed for 35 people some credit to take care of the person that oppressed them!

We have no right to put Saddam on trial because he didn't do anything to us. His own people have to put him on trial because A) That's only fair and just and B) As I said, we have nothing to charge him with, but his countrymen do.
Also, give the Iraqi people credit. Of course they're unstable, we destroyed their infrastructure and made their lives a living hell.

I agree with that ..i don't even think we should be over there but that's a whole other thread!
What confuses me is that he still thinks he's president!!!! He also has strong followers still that might be corrupt and help him escape or reagin support or power!
