Well on a brighter note on Tuesday FH and I got our wedding license YAY!
We were both so happy even when the cashier was rude to us we didn't let her get us down. We celebrated afterward with a trip to Coney Island and a ride on the cyclone.
Now is it true that we are married in the states eyes?

I don't think you are officially married yet - I think you'd still have to have a civil ceremony, but I'm not really sure.
Congrats on getting the license!!!!!!!!! I can't wait for that!

we got ours today too!! got it in the city was there by 8:30 and out by 9:30.. would have been earlier but had to wait in line again because of a typo...
so i was at work before ten.. dont think you need to take a whole day for that!

It took just a few minutes I thought it would be longer since we went to Manhattan's City hall. But it was really quick.
