we got our rings!!!

FH's ring finally came in, it took forever!

ETA FH's ring was supposed to have princess cut diamonds instead of round so it would match my band and my ering and because I hate round diamonds, but alas.... we're not sure we're gonna make a big stink about it as he seems to like it better with the round diamonds, so whatever... but still annoying cause I specifically asked for a ring with princess cut

Congrats..I think you're one of the few people I know that are using yellow gold...I still love YG everything except my ering and wedding band are YG

Haha Vanessa, that's my thumb, it was the easiest way to get both rings in the photo

Yeah, when FH and I were talking about getting engaged, one of my only requirements was that the ring be yellow. I LOVE yelow gold and I know it's kind of gone out of fashion, but it feels more like a wedding band to me, and it's what I prefer to wear on a daily basis in terms of regular jewelry if I have a choice. HARD to find yellow rings though! 90% of everything out there is white. WE special ordered FH's band from a white gold sample we saw, which is why it took so long.

BrideAS, FH is hiding the rings from me at his house, lol, so I can't touch them.
