what can i expect? For some reason I was able to remember everyones name and had it figured out..( I THINK)...but I know that it could not be that easy!!!

What I did was list each table # and then number from 1 through the amount that it would hold.....
I broke out a copy of the invite list and worked from there. Also, you should have a copy of the diagram so that you can see exactly where people are sitting. I did mine in one night....just don't ask for family opinions, it will only make it worse!!

D and I had a little spat yesterday because he wants to sit alot of his family together..and I'm sorry the table only hold 8-12 people! This is going to be rough.

i've also heard to write everyones names on index cards and than stack them up by tables- that way you don't have to keep erasing or whatever. if you want to move somebody to another table, just move the idex card

All we had to do on our table seating diagram was put how many people at that table, and indicate which tables were the parent tables. Then we had to give a list to the hall of all our guests and what table they were sitting at. (which was easy, because I already had that in a spreadsheet). I think they needed that for insurance purposes.

We have to give them a number of people for each table along with the number of favors for each table. We also have to give the list of guests in alphabetical order because we do not have place cards, our guests will be escorted to their tables. I don't think it will be too hard...the hardest part is sitting everyone at a table.
