we got some SWEET wedding checks today!!!

we ordered our favors from afresh approach! We're getting the mini bride & groom pops. Bride pop is cookies n cream filling, and the groom pop is oreo filling. It was delish!! They're doing a chocolate tray for the bridal suite as well, and they gave us some truffles to take home. FH is verrrrrry happy LOL

and we also redid our cake. Originally, we were going to do 4 tier cake- two tiers of strawberry shortcake, and 2 tiers of cappuccino mousse and chocolate cake, but after realizing that there was going to be a bunch of cappuccino and coffee items for VH, we ended up choosing black forest cake for the middle tiers. The guys even gave us an entire 8 person black forest cake to take home!!!!
We changed up the look of the cake as well. We're having teal ribbon around the base of each tier with a string of icing pearls on the bottom of each, with a peacock feather design on each tier. My florist is giving us flowers for the cake, so they'll be on the top, and a few roses placed on the sides.

i'm thinking of putting them in front of each plate. I'm ordering one 1 per person because I have mini gable boxes for everyone to take home some of the goodies from VH.

I absolutely LOVE the bride and groom pops!
I saw them in a magazine before I was even engaged and thought they were so precious!
