...is what I said to my FH last night on the phone. I received a phone call from a new Deacon as the old one can't perform our ceremony. I almost freaked, but my FH says it will be OK.

This happened to us too.......3 weeks before the wedding and I only found out by chance. I had called the church a few times to speak to the Deacon and never got him on the phone.....finally when I got a call back it was from someone else telling me he'd be doing our ceremony. I ws thinking...'you are, and who are you???' It ended up working out in the end. We met with him the week of the wedding (ahhh!!) and he was great. So many people told me that it was the nicest ceremony they had even been at. Good luck!!!
