We have no heat in our apartment!

Girls, I am in such a terrible mood today. They turned off the heat in our complex to do emergency repairs & were supposed to put it back on. Well, now we have no heat in our apartment, and its' f-ing freezing. They're supposed to be fixing it today, so I really hope so! I need some cheering up! Thanks.

Oh wow Jess...I'm so sorry. That's awful Are you home today? When are they going to turn it on? I would call whoever is in charge and complain about this.

Thank goodness I'm at work today, but Dave & I were both really sick with a cold a couple of days ago so we don't need this crap of sleeping in 2 degree weather, you know? I've called a bunch of times, so I just hope it's fixed when I get home! Thanks Marcela, you're a sweetheart!

Jenn, you're lucky! I always thought I hated heat (I used to live in NYC and it was always so hot in my apartment) but boy, it stinks to be without it! Now I find out that they think a pipe burst or something, so I hope that by tomorrow it's fixed. They're supposed to be giving us electric heaters just in case. Thanks girls for your well wishes!

Thats like my cousins apt. I go there on Mondays to babysit. I open all the windows.

Hi Marcela! No update. They don't know where the pipe burst, it may be underground, in a wall. The whole building is without heat. I think we may stay by my in-laws place tonight, and hopefully this thing will be fixed by tomorrow. Thanks so much for asking, you are such a nice person!

you should ask when it will be put back on
do you have a heater you can plug in? If not definitely stay somewhere else tonite, its way to cold for no heat

Did they bring you a space heater? I am sorry you are having to go through this!

My Mom's heat went out at her house last week on the night it was 2 degrees....It was awful!!!! Thank God it got fixed the very next day, but still.....

I asked, they don't know, they don't even know where the problem is, whether it's underground, in a wall...this is such a pain in the a$$, but you know what, I guess it could be alot worse, at least we don't have kids right now or anything, you know? Oh my gosh what a time to be without heat!!! Yes if you can sleep somewhere else!! They should even pay for you to sleep somewhere if they don't fix it by PM!! Otherwise they should take money off you rent!!!
