I'm dying to see it! We almost ordered it the other day but FH didn't want to see it b/c he knew he'd cry. (What a wuss). Guess I'll have to watch it on my own.

it is about this family who is originally from ireland. they move to hell's kitchen and really have to survive. it really is a wonderful movie and you expect it to be soooo depressing, but while it is sad, it is a sweet and very tender movie.

DH and I rented that movie a couple months ago
I thought it was so sad, yet as you said very heartwarming and sweet in the end
Those two little girls were amazing.. so beautiful and great little actresses.
I read somewhere that the story is loosely based on the screenwriter's life and experiences immigrating to America from Ireland
