instead of wedding favors we made a donation to NUMC bc they saved FH's life when he was in a serious accident at work almost 4 years ago.
we went today & were able to meet with the trauma surgeon who worked on him as well as the helicopter medic who worked on him in the helicopter as they flew him from valley stream to the medical center.

the PR lady who i organized the donation with..she took some pics & said she'd send them to the local papers.
she also called the valley stream paper (where FH & I live) & told them about it. (they covered his accident when it happened.) we have to meet with the reporter from there on thursday bc hes gonna do a story about it in next weeks paper. haha..we r gonna be famousssss!!! hahaha
