I hate that people bring you down during wedding planning with questions like these. Why do we have to justify why we are doing the things we are doing? Hello people, YOU don't have to worry about anything, just wait for your invite and show up.

I guess I have been lucky, everyone I have talked to has been supportive.. except for those who say... 'Don't do it' - that is quite annoying. Why are you telling me not to do it? Shut up! Is what I want to tell them!

Ooh, I HATE it when people tell me 1 out of every 2 marriages end in divorce! Like I don't know that, both my parents, FI parents, and FI himself are divorced!! So really, I don't wanna hear it. Am I supposed to never get married for fear of it ending? Well then lets not eat for fear of gaining weight or lets not go outside for fear of getting struck by lightning. Geesh!!!
And I HATE it too, when married people tell me not to do it, or spend so much $$. It's my day and I'm an adult, I know what I'm doing, butt out!! Just bc your marriage didn't pan out doesn't mean we're all destined to end that way. My grandparents have been married for just about 58 years so it's not like it's an impossible idea to live happily ever after.

For me it's 'So how's the wedding plans coming along?' or 'What have you got done so far?' and also 'Have you picked a color yet?' Or the best 'I better be invited to you wedding'

My coworker (that is 38 and got married when she was 30 tells me all the time, you're so young! You have your whole life a head of you.. you're like a baby, like 2 years old!!!
