We are getting married next October in the Bx--at Marina and I am so overwhelmed...
No idea where to start with vendors--had a few referrals and am going to contact them but am looking for more...anyone know any good ones or ones to avoid

try to get some referrals from your reception hall. check out some of their house vendors. sometimes they give you a discount.

I think you might become more overwhelmed by looking at the choices other brides used. I would start with one thing, like photography. Go to some websites and view their work, find the style that you like then narrow it down to a few chices then post those choices on here and see what people say good luck

Our reception is at MDR too. I'm meeting with the dj the suggested and the photographer next week, so I can let you know how that goes. I wasn't impressed with their florist tho, so I'm meeting with Pedestals. I know the feeling of being overwhelmed, but just relax and have fun.

so many people say that!! But honestly, its all about your tastes! somepeople have awesome experiences with a vendor, where someone else HATED them, i guess it just depends on what you are looking for

get your photographer 1st!!!! we used velvet studios loved them
we used flower barn we dealt with Mike. He was great
limos we used sir oliver we had them for our bachlorette party, airport service and my wedding...also my best friends wedding and her bachlorette party they were great!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
