We ordered our baby furniture today

My baby will have furniture

Of course the manager at BRU didn't want to honor the coupons that we had- $59.99 towards a matress for each piece of furniture over $400. Well my stepmom had her coupon and I had mine. She ordered our crib and changing table We had only known about her getting us the crib so it was a nice surprise. We ordered the armoire. Well the manager first tried to tell her she could only have $59.99 and I said 'Oh, no read the coupon. He said fine she has to gets 2 $59.99 matresses' I said, 'Fine. And we will return them before we even leave the store' And he said 'She will only get store credit.' So I said ' Fine' Well they brought up the stupid 2 matresses, put them on her bill, took them off via the coupon and then she had to walk over to the customer service desk, return them and then she used the store credit towards the balance on the furniture. The poor women at the registered where like 'I don't know why them make you and us go thru all this when they could just take it off the bill in the first place'
I don't care if it took an extra 15 minutes because we were talking about $120!!!
Then we used our coupon towards the baby's matress.

So now we have a crib, matress, changing table and armoire coming....I feel like the baby will really be here soon.

Michele is it the furniture you originally liked? What a jerk to do that about the mattresses Which BRU did you buy from? We STILL have to do this I have been procrastinating, I must get on the ball!!! Congrats to you

HOPEFULLY (if Patrick's job cooperates), tomorrow we will be going on our shopping trip to confirm that we really do want the furniture we picked (I still haven't hit Bellini ), and if all goes as planned, we'll be ordering on Tuesday!

I went to Bellini's, Buy Buy Baby, Behrs and BRU and I feel in love with this set the minute I walked in and saw it.

The bedding will depend on the baby's gender. Boy= cowboy/rodeo theme, with a demin/red bedding set
Girls= a garden tea party theme with a red/white bedding set
