We picked it! (Vanderbilt Mansion at Dowling)

After almost three weeks of searching, we picked our reception hall and booked the date for the church!! yay!! that was so stressful.. thank you to everyone who sent their lists of mansions on long island, they were so helpful!..

We picked the Vanderbilt Mansion at Dowling College. First we looked at Timber Point and then Lenore (sooo nice) took us to the Vanderbilt and I knew it was the place the moment i walked in.

Is anyone else getting/got married here??
I would love to hear good things!

I didn't get married there but I graduated from Dowling and it's beautiful!

yes!!! meee! we booked on saturday for 10-05-07. it's a bit far from us, but we just loved it.

I am also a Dowling grad. I got my master's there. It's beautiful. Congratulations!

Congrats!! my dhs cousing got married there a couple of years ago and it was great! the grounds were great for the ceremony and the ch was set up very cool and the reception room was really pretty!
