We saw our baby!

We had a sonogram yesterday and saw our baby! You can see the out line of the developing head, body and limbs. You can also see the heart pumping! What surprised us the most was that the baby was already moving! It kept wiggling it's limbs and you can see everything! It's the greatest feeling in the world to see your growing baby! I'm only 10 weeks and not showing yet. Sometime I even forget I'm pregnant but yesterday made everything so real to me! My DH was so excited he couldn't stop talking about it all last night! I can't wait to see more!

Isn't it the greatest?? I'm smiling thinking of how excited you and your hubby are! It's so wonderful to be able to share to joy of seeing the baby that is growing inside you together. Enjoy every minute!!! I think I was crying when I saw the baby's spine on the sonogram, I kept saying 'Look a what a strong back my baby has!'

Don't you think that baby's the cutest thing already?! Congrats!

Congratulations! That must be so great.
Its funny how you said sometimes you forget you are pregnant. When one of my friend's was pregnant several years ago, I forgot and I called and asked her if she wanted to go rollerblading.

Wow. Can you believe that you actually saw the baby already?
Did you have one of those new 3-D sonograms?

Wasn't it the best feeling?? When I heard my baby's heart beating away I was so emotional and had all sorts of feelings that I've never had! That's so cool that you saw the baby moving too!!

I hope when i get prego, I get one of those new GE sonograms where you can see the babies ACTUAL face.

Wow!! It must be so exciting! Every time I come to this side of the boards it just makes me want to have a baby. We are def not ready yet.

I had one of those 3D sonograms when I was pregnant and it was great. My dr's office didn't have the machine so when it was time for my 20 week sono, I asked if they could write a prescription for it and I went to one of the places that has them. GE's website has a list of places. It was so cool to actually see her features. As soon as DH saw her, he said she looks like you and when she came out, she was the spitting image. Technology is really amazing.

I'd love to try one of those 3D sonograms but I don't want to know if it's a boy or a girl. Will you be able to tell with the 3D sonogram? With the regular sonograms, unless you're a healthcare professional, it's hard to read the detail.

When they did the 20 week sonogram, they took all of the measurements in 2D (that is the one that you are getting now). Afterwards, they played around a little and showed me a 3D view. They play around in 2D snf when they get a good shot, they hit a button and you can see everything in 3D. If you tell them you don't want to know the sex, I am sure they can keep it from you.
