We started our registry tonight!!! Pics of china added!!

So......I dragged FH to Fortunoff tonight to finally start our registry......we only got to the china, stemware and some cooking stuff......but he actually had fun!!! He especially loved all the appliances and the manly stuff lol, I kept hearing the scanner beep when my back was turned and I was like 'what did you just add?'.....he wouldn't tell me, so I said its getting deleted when we get home if I don't approve lol!! He lasted about 2 hours and I was actually the one complaining that my feet hurt!!

Oh and if any of you ladies haven't registered yet.....Fortunoff has a new thing that if you get their credit card, then you get points for all of your registry purchases (I think it's like $25 back for every $1000 bought off your registry). I LOVE Fortunoff!!!!

Oh....does anyone have a recommendation for a stainless steel pot set?

I think this has been the most fun I've had during wedding planning (other than dress shopping!!)

I am glad you had fun. MY FH lasted about 17 minutes in BB&B. I later found out that he ADDED BOXING GLOVES TO THE REGISTRY while I was checking out vacums. Hello! Who knew that BB&B even sold boxing gloves?

My only solace was that he added a pair for each of us and mine are pink!! I kept it on the list because, well, it's funny, damnit!

I know that they will be one of the first things purchased.

We wont have plates but at least I can beat the crap out of him properly!!!!!!!!!

My FH and I were not good in the store, we were there for about an hour and gave up. I did 99% of mine on-line.

Glad you had fun...Its fun to pick stuff out in the stores. The hardest part for me was deciding on which things to pick...there are so many types/styles of everything!!!!

You will have to show us pics of your China when you get a chance! Isn't it the best? Shopping for whatever you want and not having to spend a penny! It's the best part of getting married!!!!!

that is hysterical!!! and so cute that he picked pink gloves for you......ya never know...boxing gloves might come in handy!! FH actually said he wanted to start a registry at Dodge lol (he wants a new truck!).......he tried to compare it to 'honeymoon' registries! lol he's a real comedian!!
