Aww, sweetie, I am so sorry. Try to see what happen in a few days. Try to stay calm and focus. Remember that no matter what the outcome may be you are an amzing woman who deserves the best.

I think you need to wait and have a real conversation with him - to end a long relationship and a wedding via text message is a very immature approach on his part.

I'm not sure what advice I can give, except offering support when you need... keep us updated please

I'm sorry to hear about that!!! But you sound like a strong woman and you should be proud of yourself for that. Remember what will be will be, and this too shall soon pass.

I agree....wait until he gets in touch with you. I am sure he is just stressed out and needs time to calm down.

Im sorry to hear about this....but I think that maybe he was just talking in anger and thats why he hasent given you a fax number yet. I think you should give it a couple of days and then try to talk to him....but with that if you are not really upset about it and you think it might just not be meant to be, take this time to really think about that so that when you do talk to him..you know what you want and what to say.

Good Luck...Hang in there.

You really aren't upset? I had a past relationship where I just prayed he would end it. It didn't quite happen in that way, but I felt a huge sense of relief when it finally was all over. I only ask because maybe you really don't want to marry him? If you and he are that quick to end it, maybe at least postponing it isn't a bad idea?

If you think your nonchalant attitude about ending may be due to stress, shock or despair, then try to work it out. Either way, you should definitely have a sit down conversation and discuss where you guys are headed. Text message and email are really too impersonal to end an engagement, IMHO. Best of luck.

it doesn't sound good to me, his reaction seems irrational either he's really stressed out or he's up to something.Sorry you're going through this.

Awh. I'm so sorry. But it's better you realize it sooner rather than later.

Aww I'm so sorry for you! Its terrible going through something like this. Did you say that you are living together? How is that working?

I think you need to call him and arrange a time to sit down and talk about the ENTIRE situation calmly and like adults. I don't think arguing over text messages will resolve anything. Get to the root of the problem by talking face to face. You live together, hasn't that been awkward? Don't prolong the agony, just get it out in the open with real words...no typing.

since you live together, has he come home yet? or is he staying at his parents' house or something?

you need to have a face to face conversation with him. maybe he is just having a little bit of cold feet, and is realising all these little things that bug him and thinking about how he is going to live with that for the rest of his life.

I totally agree. You HAVE to have this ENTIRE discussion in person - calmly (if possible) - and never via text or email.

Good luck it is never easy having these types of convo's but you need to take a deep breath and try to get thru it, or you'll just be asking yourself questions about it for a long time.

please keep us updated. I just can't believe you live together and he hasn't come home or texted back. Have you called him? Its just for someone to leave like that and not call or come home is pretty messed up. and if your not upset and doesn't seem to be than maybe your both not right for eachother.
