Wear a watch?

I'm the type of person that always has a watch on..I feel naked without it! has anyone worn one or plan on wearing one? don't know if it will clash with the dress or jewelry or should i just buy a similar one to my jewelry or none at all...???

Personally, I would skip the watch but hey if its something you want to wear then go for it.

I feel naked without a watch too. Maybe you can find a very delicate looking watch, with a very thin band. Maybe with little jewels on it. Something that will look more like a braclet, than a watch.

I think a very elegant bracelet would be nice.

I second the watch, the day gets very chaotic and it's nice to be able to find out what time it is and check that things are proceeding on time w/o asking your MOH everytime... :) A tiny watch with thin band can act like a bracelet. :)

I am the same way....luckily I had a diamond bezel to put on my gucci watch which complemented my jewelry. If you feel you want one, I'd see how the one(s) you have look with your jewelry or find another one (there are so many cute watches out there). GL!!

i am one of those types too, i need it for work because our clocks dont work, and i can function without one on the weekends, but i would definetly say no to one on your wedding day. I didnt wear one and i didnt even try to look at the time once. you dont want to know what time it is, and if you do you ask someone.

I agree. I think I asked for the time once, and that was just to see whether we were behind schedule with the picture taking. I look at my watch constantly, but on my wedding day, I really didn't even think about the time.

I didn't wear a watch on my wedding day, despite wearing one every day. Trust me, on the wedding day, you won't miss it!

I would skip the watch. Plus your not going to constantly be looking at waht time it is. The day goes so fast.

Re: Wear a watch?

this is so funny! i'm like torn between wearing a bracelet style one, or none at all. I forgot to mention that the reason i feel naked without one is cause i'm so anal about always knowing what time it is, and i'm a nut about things being on time and punctuality. especially on my wedding day! but i don't want to feel rushed or like the day is flying. and don't want to keep asking people 'what time is it?' still trying to decide what to do...thanks girls! keep the thoughts coming!
