I really don't want to wear a veil. Also, I feel that it is a waste if I only wear it for the ceremony. Any thoughts?

Re: Wearing a veil?
I am going to wear one but they have lots of styles that are more unobtrusive. I found one that really went almost out of my face, just down the back. It looked good without getting in the way.

Re: Wearing a veil?
I just saw made of honor....and she looked so much better with the flowers at the second wedding. I have a cool sparkly comb with a little bit of milliner's gauze attached I am wearing on Saturday. It's pretty unique, I kinda made it up in my own head.

Re: Wearing a veil?
I am wearing one just for the ceremony. I actually ordered mine VERY cheap off of ebay. I refused to pay a lot of money for something I am going to wear for a half an hour.

Re: Wearing a veil?
yea its totaly up to you and what you feel comfortable with. I dont want to wear a veil- I'm going with really pretty silk flowers that have some crystals in them.... and some people are trying to make me feel bad about not wearing a veil- like 'you have to wear a veil' 'you wont feel like a bride' but its my day and I DONT WANT TO

Re: Wearing a veil?
My MOH and I both wore combs with real flowers in our hair. The flowers coordinated with our bouquets.

i didn't want to wear one either, but my mom and mil felt it was important. i wore it for the ceremony and our 1st dance. i didn't wear it for any of the formal photos.
i say you do whatever you are comfortable with!

Re: Wearing a veil?
I wasn't going to wear one... but when they put it on my when I tried on my dress & tiara it sort of just completed the whole look. But I will only be wearing it for the ceremony & some pictures.
