Who thinks they are going to wear their e-ring and wedding band when they go on their honeymoon??

I really want to but I have heard some horror stories!!!!

Can't be paranoid that something will happen. I remember last year on vacation, one guy lost his wedding band in the pool, and it became a contest to see who could find the ring first.
I might leave the rings in the safe when I go swimming.

I am definitely wearing both rings. FH and I are going to Ireland for 16 days. I look at it this way, if two NYC police officers can't hold on to their prized possessions while on vacation, then we need to quit our jobs! No one is touching my rings!!

L M A O. I haven't lost my ering in the past 12 months, why would something happen to it overseas? That's just plain silly, JMO

I wore mine - I kept them in the safe when we were out in the pool or going on excursions in the water.

Love mine. Not going anywhere but on my finger. Worked to hard for it!!! That's what insurance is for. don't go on your honeymoon without insuring that rock!!!

I did! I could never NOT wear it!
Just keep it on AT ALL times, I mean, don't take it off, not by the shower, cause you may forget it when u go down for breakfast. if ur going to wear it, NEVER take it off!

Til this day, I NEVER EVER take either 1 off. Im so scared even tho I have insurance on them...even at home, I shower with it, cause Im majprly paranoid thinking someone is gunna break into my house or I'll lose it, or my dog will eat it! But Im just paranoid!

But honestly, just wear it at all times, make sure its TIGHT, so it wont slip off during a wave in the ocean. I had a cheap pacific sun ankle braclet, and one little wave - ankle bracelet set off to sea!

I am glad there is thread on this since I have been contemplating this for a while. I have decided not to wear them. I don't want to swim with it, my fingers swell when I am hot and I plan on tanning and being free of worry the entire HM. I do not want to worry if it's in the safe, if the safe is broke, if it falls off in the water, and most of all my emerald shows water spots on it if it's not cleaned off right way. Who wants to worry about that??? lol
It's easier to not worry about it. I understand wanting to wear it.(we all just got it and want to)but who I prefer not to worry. Yes we have insurance, but it will never be the same one that he proposed to you with, especially with the special reason behind it...

totally wearing them. would you not wear your rings in NYC? likely, you would, so wear them where ever you go!

If you get into a questionable area, just flip the e-ring backwards, and it will look like a plain band.... problem solved...

I wore mine in Bermuda.

(I actually knocked them off the nightable one of the nights we were there and they were gone when I woke up and I almost had a heart attack!)

I was so excited to finally wear my rings together there was no way I could have left them home!
