Weather Forecast - Not looking good....suggestions?

I've been bummed for the last few days because of the weather forecast. I am getting married this Saturday (day) a tthe Palm House and I am supposed to have an outside ceremony/pictures. It is calling for rain on Saturday morning - exactly when I am supposed to get married.

Anyone take pictures after the rain? What happens to the dress? I don't want my dress to have all mud...ewww.

I know I can't help the rain...I can't help feeling so blah too about this Saturday. I just wish I can cancel it and reschedule.

*sigh*

Any words of advice are graciously welcomed.

If you get a break in the rain during the morning, you'll probably be able to get some really dramatic fog shots. I'm kind of in the same boat - if it rains anytime within the 24 hours before my wedding, the first-choice picture spot (a corn maze) is out of the running.

I have seen some really cool pics of weddings in the rain, rain can make everything glow and vibrant

is there an alternate location where you can have the ceremony if it pours? Our ceremony is outside too and the RH has set up a rain location, just in case.

WAIT....on Good Day NY this morning Mike Woods said the weekend will be very nice!!! In the 70's. The only rain was today thurs, & friday!!!!!
I will keep my fingers crossed for you!!!!

I'm upset too, but what can we do! We can't change the weather and we can't change our dates so I am just gonna pray until Sat. that everything clears up and if not we have to forget it and enjoy our day!
My photog told me that he had a bride who spent the whole day moping because it rained and he said you could see it in all her pictures, we have to try not to let that happen to us.

no no no no!!! don't listen to them!!!

it's wayyyyy toooooo EARLY to be taking anything that the weather is calling for serious... it is four days away and it can change 100 times... take it from me, i know firsthand!!

They were calling for this coastal storm for our wedding day and it turned out being absolutely BEAUTIFUL-- a day that brides dream of!

So, don't worry yourself- get yourself a big, beautiful umbrella JUST INCASE but think positive and I swear- it will change for the better!

either way- don't let anything the weather says bring you down!

with everything going so fast this week...it is hard to keep grounded and everything in perspective (especially after a year of planning with the assumption of NO RAIN).

I think I just needed some support.

be hopeful!!
the forcast for my wedding day was all over the place from rain to thunderstorms in the week before my wedding. the day before they started forcasting nicer weather.
there was not a cloud in the sky.
BE HOPEFUL and PRAY.
and even if it does rain, just remember why you are there in the first place - its not about the rain, the dress, the flowers, or any other physical material things. its about the love you and your FH share, and during your ceremony, thats all you will care about, no matter if its inside or outside.
