To Website or not to Website? That is the question...
FH is giving me a hard time about making a wedding website. I feel like there is a fine line between having something that is cute and informative and something that is completely over the top.
I think it would be an easy way to keep guests updated on important things like travel arrangements and hotel and registry info.
Thoughts?

I did it using wedding channel, just sent out my save the dates last week (w/ the website info on it) and people are loving the site.

i'm not doing one. i personally don't have time to do one and most of my guests are local so i don't need to keep them informed but its a good idea

I did one on weddingchannel.com. We have a large # of OOT guests, some OOS and international, so we thought it would be a good way to update people. We put it on our STDs which should go out this weekend. I didn't make it crazy cheesy or anything, just informative.

yeah I wanted to do one too, but my FH said it is a waste because I am not going to keep it updated, which is true But if you going to keep it updated, you should. I am too busy to keep a website updated,

I have one because it's the industry we're both in - he's IT and I'm a PM for web development projects. It's also fun for people to read about us, even close friends that don't know the ins and outs.
The wedding wire has good templates and very easy to use!!
