Wedding Advice I got from the guy that works at Dunkin Donuts...

Original post by Dalito322

I had a funny experience yesterday and just had to share...

FH and I were in Dunkin Donuts yesterday (getting iced coffee - staying away from those donuts!), and the guy behind the counter must have noticed my ring and asked if we're newlyweds - I said no, but actually the wedding is next week!

So, that started about a 5 minute speech with wedding advice....and to be honest, he had a very thick accent so I didn't understand most of it, but I did catch on part of it, which was his main point:

'A successful marriage is about give and take. One person must be deaf, and the other must be blind.'

Yes, ponder that ladies.....I had to for about 5 minutes in the car.....but it does make a lot of sense once you think about it!! Thanks Dunkin Donuts man!

People are funny They either give you advice or say 'don't do it' I prefer the advice.

The gas station attendant told FH that he must always remember to give in when fighting because a womans mind is more stubborn than a mans ans she will withhold sex!

Lol... I guess is he right. My grandparent has been married for 55 years. My grandpa is Japanese and grandma is Italian so whenever the fight, they speak each other language. So since they cant understand each..they just ignore each other.
