Wedding After Party?

most likely not because our wedding is ending at 1am.

after parties are hard because the last 2 weddings i went to... they had an after party at the 4 points sheraton (same as TWOTY)... and we all had MORE FUN at the hotel then at the wedding. thats why Jackie and decided on an evening wedding... i dont wanna give people the chance to have more fun AFTER the wedding. lol

I can understand that, but I would see the afterparty as an extension of the wedding... Not really apart from it...

Because our wedding was at the East Wind.. there were 12 rooms booked with our guest.. and they had their own after parties between rooms,, for about 45 minutes till they were all exhausted because it was 2am,...

You will be SHOT by that time.. don't stress yourself about it.

thats a good point

But were also having a afternoon wedding, so there will be plenty of time to party afterwards... If you're having an evening wedding people aren't going to party much if ur reception ends at 1am....

We arn't planning one but our wedding doesn't end till 1:30am. So by the time FI and I leave and get to whatever hotel we/ our guests are staying at it will be so late. If people want to go to the bar at the hotel after thats their choice...

We MIGHT have one. It'll be at the reception hall but in a different room. Something like a venetian but i think it's an extra hour and a half. It would be a jazz band, cigar roller, and breakfast being served.

This isn't def though cuz i gotta talk to some people about it still.

We are staying in a hotel with our BP and OOT guests and whatever friends and family want to stay. Im not sure if ill be up for the after party but they do have a common room which we will have and prob get a hero and drinks and Im going to have everyone bring a bottle of liquor or a case of beer. whatever they want to drink.

we are having an afternoon wedding that ends at 6pm so i kinda want to do something, maybe hang out at the bar at fox hollow but i guess i will see...

Im not having an after party because my wedding is ending at 1:30 am. No one in my family will be staying in a hotel except us

I think the after party will be just me and FH, champagne and a whole lot of something I rather not say. >;)

We were going to do an after party, but why pay more for people to party more! They should pay for it than lol.

i think after parties are better for afternoon weddings because you get drunk by 6pm and have no where to go so why not just hang out at the bar at the hotel. i did notice though that the bride and groom dont make it that long because they are usually up so early that they are exhausted.

Ours is ending late but we are gonna shuttle whoever wants to go to a hotel nearby and hopefully take over the bar/lounge/lobby area and just continue the festivities! With my group, they will still have energy, haha.

The reception won't get over until 1AM!! I hope I'm still standing, however, my FH's family will be rearin' to go!! The plan is to take over the lounge. I think I'll be fast asleep though.

we are nto really having an after party but our RH has a bar in the main building so we can just walk right there and party! I know the day is going to go by so fast and this will be the mail part me and FH can really chill and soak it it!

I don't know what to do now. our wedding will be ending around 8, we are not party animals. I am kind of weirded out by the whole thing anyway so I kind of want to go home after. Maybe I will feel different as it gets closer...
