How long did it take you before you got your final wedding album and video from the vendors? We got our proofs and chose our photos and were told we wouldn't get to proof the album for at least 3 months to approve it. Plus the video takes about 6 months and we haven't even seen the raw footage yet. I think this is a really long time, but I don't know what the normal time frame is. Just curious as to how long it took everybody else. Thanks.

wow.
we got our proofs after 1 month and we chose our photos and submitted everything back to the photographers in the beginning of August. When we dropped off our pics we picked up our fully edited video.
In September I was going back and forth with them about editing our album and I just picked up my album on Decemeber 17th!

we got our proofs 8 weeks after the wedding - not sure about the rest of the timeline though since i haven't submitted anything else yet

I think it depends on your photographer. I haven't gotten proofs yet and I'm okay with it. Let them take their time and really show attention to our photos. We know they were busy.

I did my own albums through shutterfly, but it did take me almost 5 months from when I submitted my song selections to receive my video

We got our proofs with in two days after wedding.. Because the photographer is my friend..
we got our proofs 1 month after the wedding and i still dont have my video but the album is my fault i havent sent in the list of pics

I got my proofs about 8 weeks after the wedding. I used Imagine studios. She send me a layout in the middle of November. I made quite a few changes and then I never heard back from her over a month later. I'm actually pretty disappointed I wasn't expecting it to take this long.
