Wedding Attire Help w/ Poll with UPDATE

Ok Ladies!

I decided to buy a Cathedral length veil.
Here is what I am wearing.

DressFront: (however, dress shown in white, and mine will be ivory)


Dress Back:


Veil: (Mine will be trimmed in ivory)


Here are two options I have so far,
(Veil will bein Ivory and all of the decorations will be in ivory as well, not black as shown.)

detail: (the flower details are similar to the flower details on my dress)


Or should I go with this more plain option, however, I will add the same ribbon trim in ivory all along the edge and then add crystals all over the veil? (sorry, the pic only shows the basic veil with trim)


I should say that i am usually all about being all blinged out, but i really really like this decorated veil as well.

Which would you girls go with? do confused!

I also found a drop dead gorgeous veil from lightinabox.com but they are all made in China and takes 3 weeks to get, which I am ok with, but some of the revews say that it looks like a lace aplique has been sewed onto the tulle. It doesn't really look like its shown in the picture. Should i take a chance?

I'm confused - are you going to wear both veils - the 1 you already have and the cathedral together?

Or you wearing 1 for the ceremony, taking it off and then wearing the other??

aren't you supposed to wear them both together?
i was going to wear my fingertip veil and the cathedral veil for the ceremony and pictures and then the fingertip veil only for the RH

Well yea, def wear together but it's a lot easier when they are already made together.

For example - I have a cathedral and a blusher. The cathedral part velcros onto the blusher part and I'll take it off for the reception and just wear the blusher as a single veil.

Is there anyway you can return the other veil and just get everything in one?

If not - I would go with the simple, no detail, only has the matching ribbon edge, cathedral veil.

I think that would look really nice together. I feel if you do a cathedral veil with the different detail then your other veil it might be too much going on.

Does that make sense?

PS - I would not add crystals since your other veil doesn't have them.

but it looks like that one and the fingertip one both have a good amount of volume...I dont know if id wear them together, but maybe wear only the cathedral for the ceremony and then switch to wear the fingertip for the reception

I really like your orginal fingertip veil, with the satin edging. My BFF and matron of honor wore that kind of veil for her wedding and it looked SOOO pretty in pictures.

In regard to the new veils you posted, I like the first one better.

I agree with what Denise said - that your current veil has a decent amount of 'bulk' to it so I would be careful adding a cathedral veil to that.

Is there anyway you can go try on cathedral veils with your current veil to get an idea of how it feels? I'm not sure how you are doing your hair but that could also be something to keep in mind if you are going to have 2 veils.

no i actually wrote this but i didn't see you had just written wha tyou did! I'm so glad that you were able to give me your opinions!!!!!!!
i like my fingertip veil, i don't have anything against it. its just that when ibought it almost 2 years ago, it was the first one they put on and i just went with it. but i'm much more of a showy person, so i like so much more bling. i love the two new fingertip veils i added pictures for and i thinbk either will go well with the first veil i put a picture up of (the detail trimmed one)
i'll try on the original veil tonight and see how i feel about it.
i really did fall in love with the one from China but i'm afraid it will look terrible once i get it.

Yea the China one looks pretty in the picture but after seeing those other photos you posted, I don't think it's worth it.

I am sure you could sell your original veil which is good.

i love your original veil too but you could def sell it if you change your mind - good idea Eloise!

out of the 2 new fingertip ones i think i like #2 and it would go really well with the first cathedral with the detail
