Wedding Band - I had never heard of this before but...

I liked it the best. The Insert wedding band. Anyone get an insert as their band?

Inserts were very popular years ago .I havn't seen many done recently ,But they do look Good .If its what you like then get it and make yourself happy !

Do you mean so that its like your engagement ring and wedding band are like 1 ring?

I think you mean an inter-lock: its a ring that is open in the middle so you can slide your engagement ring in the middle and wear as one whole piece. My mom has one.

Edited to say: I found a picture. But not too sure if all rings look good or fit into a interlock.

The saleslady kept calling it an insert. So the real name is an interlock? Good to know.

My mom has one of those too. It's not her wedding band though. I like them but wouldn't want it as my band because you really can't wear it by itself.

It's called an insert or sometimes a wrap, because you insert your engagement ring into the other ring or the wrap 'wraps' around your engagement right. It was very popular in the 80's-90's.

I wanted an insert but because of the e-ring I got, I had to have two bands made (one for either side of the ring) to do this.

I have only heard of it as an interlock. They were really popular in late 60's and 70's too. My father was actually surprised that I wasn't getting one. He didn't know that nobody did anymore. I want to be able to wear them seperately.
