My engagement ring does not 'go' with any wedding bands I've tried on. I am thinking about getting a ring I found that I love, but I would have to wear it on my right hand and wear my engagement rig on my left. What do you all think about that? would you ever do that?

Re: wedding band on right hand
My FSIL wears her engagement ring on her right hand and wedding band on her left. My E-ring is too small for my right so I might do what you're thinking of doing. I see a lot of people who wear them on different hands.

can you have it sized?
i just think wedding rings belong on the left hand....
my wedding band and ering don't sit flush against one another either, but i think they look fine! it bothered me at first, but i actually like it now. otherwise, i wear my ering on the right hand. also, i don't wear my ering to work (i work in a bad neighborhood) so then i only have on my wedding band, and i can't imagine it being on my right hand with nothing on my left!

Re: wedding band on right hand
I have heard of people wearing them on separate hands, but usually the e-ring goes on the right hand and the wedding band on the left

I was actually thinking of doing that myself just because I don't feel like wearing 2 on the same hand. Also, I know most people would say wear the wedding band on the left, and the e-ring on the right, but I don't want to do that. I actually don't even want a wedding band - I feel like just having FH slip my e-ring on me during the ceremony. I really don't need 2 rings, and I love my e-ring. But anyway, I am so used to my e-ring on my left hand, and I want to keep it there, so if I'm going to move a ring over to my right hand at all - it'll be the wedding band.
You can def do whatever you want, so don't worry about what other people will say/think about your rings. If you want to wear the band on the right hand, then go for it.

Re: wedding band on right hand
I couldn't find anything to go with my (antique) engagement ring so I'm going to wear it on the right and my wedding band on the left. I'm also a lefty so it will be easier to have the diamond on my non-dominant hand. My jeweler was just saying that her husband wears his on the right. It doesn't really matter.

Do whatever you'd like & don't worry about what anyone else says... you are the one who has to be comfortable! Personally, who cares what hand you wear it on... as long as it has meaning to you, there's absolutely nothing wrong with doing it that way. If you'd like to wear your wedding band on your right hand, go for it! Sometimes I don't feel like wearing the rings together so I do that too.

Re: wedding band on right hand
I have same issue, my e-ring is pretty unusual and the designer doesn't make any wedding bands to go with that I like... so I'll be wearing e-ring on my right hand.

Re: wedding band on right hand
i was lucky that my FI actually checked if my ering had a matching wedding band and got the model number. We went and ordered it and its a perfect match.
but i think you should do hatever makes you comfortable it doesn't matter what hand its on as long as you feel comfortable with them.

I saw the matching band that goes with my ring and I really don’t like it. My ring has a pave setting and I really don’t want a pave wedding band. He knew I wasn't a fan of pave setting but he loved the design of the E- ring and so do I. I'm not sure I can pair together two different settings. Any photos?

I am doing this! I love my ring and wouldn't have it any other way. Just get a stunning band that you can wear along and you'll be alright!

Same situation here....I want to wear it on my right hand too. I've been told though it's supposed to be on my left hand with e-ring on the right.

Re: wedding band on right hand
Some people from Eastern Europe wears the wedding band and the ering on the right hand! It really doesnt matter what you do...I personally like both on the left hand because I wear other rings on the right hand...But your the one wearing it and you can do anything you like!
