How long does it take to get them? Is it like the e-ring where you pick it out and just wait until they put it in the setting and fix the size and then leave the store with it? Or is it like an order and you have to come back to the store?

It depends on what you are getting and what they have in stock.
My plain white gold band had to be ordered b/c they didnt have my exact size.. that one only took about 2 weeks.
BUT my eternity band they had in my size and I would have been able to take it home that day! ( fh paid for it and left it there b/c he thought it was too early to bring it home)
His band was the same thing it needed to be ordered to his size.. then when it arrived about 3 weeks later he went to try it on and it didnt fit so it needed to be RE-ordered. Total time was a month and a half for his band

My band, which is a gold band with seven diamonds going across, was sized in front of me and I took it home right there and then. JT's titanium band took two weeks to order and come in.

Both our bands needed to be ordered. Mine took a little longer because it needed to be custom made. We wanted them to match but I wanted it flat instead of rounded. We got them both in less than 3 weeks.
