Money has gotten very tight lately and we are still working on eloping to Vegas this June. We went wedding band shopping last week and FH found his so we bought it. I found what I want too but it is very expensive, well right now because of finances. Do you think it would be wrong to get a less expensive band to get married in Vegas with and then when we get married in Church in 07 replace it with the band I really want? I would just wear the other band on my other hand.
Nothing wrong with that!!! Get a simple band for the Vegas ceremony and the one you really really want for the formal reception...You probably want a simple band anyway so you have one that you'll feel comfortable wearing to the beach and on vacations. I am getting two...one with diamonds, one plain...I am a jewelry brat
Me too, FH makes fun of me because my jewelry is kept in a duffle bag because it doesnt fit in the jewelry box and I wear the same things all the time anyhow

Im very sentimental so ...I mean does it bother you not to wear the original band. Im afraid it will bother me and I'll wind up wearing something Im not happy with.

We did that.....
we got married with the justice of the peace in feb.04 and I got a plain band which I wasn't going to wear but kept on wearing until our church wedding in Nov.
I say do whats right for you

I think its a great idea. You can always get a more expensive band later.
