I have a round three stone e-ring and had a hard time finding a band to go with it. My ring is set very high and that posed a problem too. So I went with a plain platinum band.

My engagement ring is an eternity band so it has diamonds going all the way around it, in an antique style. But we found out that I am pregnant back in Feb so that kinda pushed the wedding date up a bit so we could be married before the baby came so now we don't have the money to get the wedding band to match my e-ring. What we are ending up doing is using my FH's parents' wedding bands. His mom passed away last june and his father offered it to us as a way to save money, and my FH feels strongly about it because it'll be a way to honor and have his mother with us on our wedding day. It's a gold band, that I have to get sized, so we're getting it sized for me (she wore about a size 4.5 and I wear an 8!) and dipped in white gold. Then for our year or 10 year (depending on what money is like after the baby) anniversary we are going to get the custom made eternity band to match my e-ring.
I think in your case a simple eternity band or a ring with diamonds at the top would be a good choice.
