Wedding Bands

What is everyone getting for their wedding bands? Are you getting one that matches you finace's, one that matches your engagement ring, or both? What finger are you planning on wearing your rings? I have been looking for one to match my engagement ring but haven't found anything that matches and I like. I think I want to get both...anyone have any good sites for ideas?

I am getting 2 wedding bands...

I have got one to match my FH wedding band and I am also getting a diamond wedding band. I plan on wearing the diamond one with my engagement ring and the matching band on my right hand or alone on my left for everyday.

Wedding Bands

I am getting two also. One diamond one and one plain one to wear while 'knocking around.' The diamond one I am having made for me at Elsa's Wedding ring. I looked at rings, found one that I really liked, and adsked Elsa to make it for me. They are doing it for less money than the store asked for and the diamonds have more carat weight and are better quality.

Wedding Bands

I am getting a wedding band to match my engagement ring. My fiance is choosing his own band (whether it matches or not). We decided that he is going to have to wear it for the rest of his life so he should choose one that he likes himself.

My mother in law goes to a place in the city, where they dont cahrge tax, and you are getting good stuff. That is where they got my engagement ring. Hubby still wont tell me how much he paid, but I know how much it was appraised for.

Diane. 2 bands for $300.00 what a deal!!! :)

Because our fingers are on the bigger side, ours ended up being $500.00 for both matching bands. We also are getting them engraved with our date. I thought about having something written out but it would cost $10.00 a word...so we went with the date. :)

How much for platinum band?

I'm getting my wedding band to match my engagement ring and it's over $1500 for the band. I guess that's expensive when I hear 2 for $300. My FI is going to get plain platinum band, about how much would that be?

How much for platinum band? - julykbride

For a nice size platinum band that does not sound bad. 14K is a lot less. Usually bands are not made in 18K as it is too soft. For instance, the band that we saw for $300 in 14K white gold cost about $1,400 in platinum.
