Silly question, but are there any traditions with the wedding bands. Like are you suppose to buy them separate (you buy his and he buys yours and surprise each other the day of the wedding)? Or can you go together to pick them out. I'm not sure what is the proper way.

I thought the same...but we went together to buy our wedding bands and asked the jeweler if its common and she said yes...we wanted to do it together anyways wether it was common or not...

FH and I went shopping together for both bands. We had a joint account set up for wedding expenses that we both contributed to. We paid for the bands out of that money. HTH

FH got mine when he got my E-Ring (matching set) and we went together to pick out his! Hope that helps!
