WEDDING BANDS

What's everyone spending on their wedding bands?

FH and I have begun looking and I feel like everything is SO expensive!!!

FH just wants a PLAIN, matte, white gold band but I want something with a little bling. I went to Fortunoff's on Sunday and saw a really pretty,dainty eternity band for $895, but is that too much to spend?

So what are you spending and if you have pics, post!! I love looking at pictures of BLING!!

I think 895 is pretty good. Everything I like is 2 grand or more!

For FH I got him a titanium ring....well actually two he liked the white gold look and the all the black and they were so cheap I got him both..... titanium is very cheap, it looks great, and it won't scratch or dent like platinum or gold. I went to www.titaniumera.com for his rings and I am so happy!!! For his lifestyle he needed something pretty durable.

For my ring he spent about $800

UGH, trust me, I KNOW!!! I always gravitate to stuff that is out of my price range.

This ring was definitely on the smaller eternity band side but it was really pretty and sparkly.

Okay, I LOVE the titanium idea BUT FH read once that it's IMPOSSIBLE to take off, especially if you have to have surgery or something--is this true?

Mine was about $1500 and his was about $275 (plain band)

No docs can cut it off if need be....it just can't be resized if he gains or loses weight but that web site offers unlimited resizing....so it is worth it. I was nervous of that too but I did some research and they can def. cut it off....lets hope they will never need that to happen.....but they will be fine if need be....

Fh wants a plain band but I want an eternity band so I'm budgeting $3000 in total, This also would include an everyday plain one for me.

I didn't get mine yet. But my jeweler is going to give me some eternity bands to look at. He is located in the city if you want his info.

I've seen an almost 2 carat one that I love, it depends on how much it costs though. btw mich, Joe has no idea I want 2 bands, he's gonna think I lost my mind lol

and how big was the one at fortunoffs for $875? i saw a couple on bluenile.com.

It was half a carat total weight and 14k white gold.
