Re: WEDDING BANDS
maggie he is going to freak out haha well im sure the everyday one wont cost that much! i want an eternity one ... you've seen my engagement ring band ...my engagement ring is on an eternity band i guess you would would call it an eternity band and has a weight of 1/2 carrot ... i love it because it is dainty and perfect for my little fingers (plus i like that it makes the diamond look huge always a plus) i think i might want to go a little bigger for the wedding band BUT still small enough where i can wear it all the time and feel safe plus i want it to match and dont want it to look stupid next to my thin engagment ring band ... i feel like i have to get a matching one (even tho i want bigger diamonds in my wedding band than those that are in my engagement band) we shall see!

Re: WEDDING BANDS
We budgeted to 2K for both of our rings so I am thinking his will be about $500-$600 and whats left is what we will spend on mine.

I have no idea what our jeweler is going to bang us out with
Are you getting it specially made?
Has anyone tried the Diamond District?
I asked our jeweler in the diamond district and for an eternity band that matched my ring it was $1500. I had no idea what to expect. I may ask what they can do for $1000. I've got to start cutting here and there!!!

Re: WEDDING BANDS
I would recommend staying away from Fortunoff's besides the fact you have to pay tax, you can get a much better deal from a local Jeweler and if you don't have one. Try Tri-County Flea Market. (I have used Royal Jewelers there many times)
Mine is going to cost probably about $4,000 because i want an eternity band and it might have to be custom made because I want it flush next to my ering which is a 6 prong solitare.
I am going back to the guy in the diamond district first where FH got my ring and if he can't do something, I'm going to Elsa's to have it made.

Re: WEDDING BANDS
PS == I have spoken with many jewelers regarding Platinum vs. white gold eternity bands and they all say go with white gold since you barely see the metal and it is far less expensive. My ering is platinum and wanted it to match but all you really see is diamonds
