where are you going for yours? FH got my engagement ring at Fortunoff....so we all know we can't go back for the bands! was thinking of going to a place across the street from fortunoff, 'from italy with love'?? i had gotten my ring appraised there for the insurance policy, and the guy was real nice.
any other suggestions? don't want to be taken for a ride, ya know?

We got ours at David S. Diamonds in NYC. 5th Ave between 45th and 46th Street - NOT IN THE DIAMOND DISTRICT. This guy does all his business from a beautiful office in this really nice building. He has a patent on an amazing new way of Diamond cutting, called Solasera, which is what my Engagement ring is cut with. FM for details!

Mine is most likely going to be from Zales, FH is deciding between styles from Zales and Good Old Gold. In a perfect world we'd both be using GOG, but I want stones in my ring, and we just won't spend the kind of money that they want for rings with stones. It's a compromise, but I'm ok with it.

Diamond District in the city.... found an AMAZING guy who is custom making my ring (there are very few wedding bands out there with radiant cut diamonds, and I really wanted the band to match my e-ring). He's also a LOT less expensive than many of the jewelry retailers on the island, since he's a diamond wholesaler.

Im getting mine at the same place he bought my Ering.
FH inherited his wedding band from my family.
And we bought him a plain silver band for everyday use (he can lose his ring very easily because of his work).

Kinda embarassed to admit it, but JCPenney They actually have very good quality diamonds and jewelry, they were having a huge sale around christmas time, and then we had even more really good coupons, so we got an AMAZING price... and I have diamonds halfway around my white gold band.... FH just has a simple stainless steel band.
