wedding bands

Wedding bands....
My E-ring is a solitaire about 2.5 mm and was wondering if band width was supposed to be same? Found a band that was 3.5 ... is that too big?

ive seen ppl have 1 band thicker than the other...its all up to you and how you like it. I dont think it looks bad as long as the rings fit well together...i persoanlly like that flush look when they sit on a finger...
