Wedding Bands..

Wedding Bands..

It's definitely early to be looking at wedding bands BUT everyone keeps saying 'It's going to be tough to fit a wedding band with your engagement ring'. Sooo of course I'm stressed about it haha - We went to Jared today to look around and see if they had anything that would fit since that's where he purchased my e-ring but they had nothing to go with it! They said we'd have to have one custom made, which I heard can be a big chunk of money. ugh. We're obviously going to look EVERYWHERE before we have to resort to that because really, who has spare money laying around while saving for a wedding to get a custom band.

Anyone else think they'll have the same issue?

My e- ring was custom made nd my band will def have to be custom made because of the shape of the setting. I'm planning on wearing my e- ring on my right hand nd my band on my left hand. I don't wasn't to get a custom made band. I don't wear my e- ring to work so a simple band will work for me.

Yep. FH designed my band and the centerstone is marquise, so my best bet is to just go where he went

I have not really looked into the band yet...but with my ering its so simple that im sure i will be fine but only problem its white gold and its tarnish and im so upset by this and its not a year old yet and FH is not happy about this at all..and now i have to get it dipped and i would have to do this every year ....so i told the FH that i would like my band to be in platinum and but i scared that it will look so funny and i really dont want to change my ering I LOVE it so much and now i have no idea what to do...that is my problem and im sure i can find a band that would be very nice wtih my ering too....when i want to a bridal show over at westbury manor there was a ring store there and it looks really nice ...i forgot the name of it ..but as soon as i find out the name i will post it so u can check them out!

Honestly, I didn't even know you had to look for a band to match your e-ring. My e-ring is a simple white gold band with a solitaire stone on it and when we went to Bermuda, we thought we should check out the wedding bands there, since they'd be duty-free.

We found two matching plain white gold wedding bands that when I tried it on looked like it was supposed to go with my e-ring.

Both his and mine wound up costing us $540 total.

But I guess I'm no help, because I just thought all bands and e-rings would go together. All I can say is, just try a bunch on. I wouldn't necessarily narrow yourself down to just one type because someone tells you no other ones will go with it, you know??

I'm quickly learning that EVERYONE is in this business to make money.

The problem with my ring (not a problem.. because i LOVE my ring) is that it has a curve so I definitely need a contoured wedding band.. which isn't a problem because they sell those but any of the ones we have looked at aren't curved enough. Hopefully we'll find one eventually that works, otherwise we'll have to get a customized one.

Very pretty ring! They def do sell the curved 1s so just continue to check out different places when you can. Maybe you will luck out and find 1 to fit your ring. You def have plently of time so just keep looking.

You would think right? They just want you to custom make it and spend the extra $!
