We got our wedding bands this weekend...because my e-ring setting is so intricate - I either had to get a the matching band or soemthing similiar - we looked and looked but nothing...I finally decided to not go 'traditional' and went with something a little different...what do you think??
FH got this ring - but in all white gold - no yellow -

Thanks everyone...I was happy with my choice but of course I bring it home to show my mom and her first words are 'It doesn't look like a wedding band - nice but not a wedding band'
I tried to explain to her that is exactly what I was going for - - she is just going to be commenting on trying to convince me to change my mind on it - to the point that I'm going to start second guessing my choice...AGHHHH - whatever - its my choice and so what if it 'doesn't look like a wedding band'

Ya know what?? The fact that it doesn't look like a traditional wedding band is what makes it YOURS, and what makes it special to YOU. Ignore your mother!
